End of NAB

The four days of this years New Art Birmingham came to an end yesterday.  We took the show down and made our final sales. It was a fantastic success and the listed Curzon Street Station building that housed the Art Market really was an incredible venue! An absolute jewel that has been forgotten for too long by the city. Meeting artists from all over the UK and making contacts for future shows and sales, it was all very promising.

I received a great deal of interest in my New Orleans work, and enjoyed taking the time to talk with people about my trips over there and how they city and its residents are dealing with life nearly two years on from Hurricane Katrina. I sold a fair number of Ltd edition prints and posters and plan to donate 50% to the New Orleans Neighbourhood Story Project with another percentage to the Musicians Relief Fund.
