Mardi Gras is Over!





Lent has officially started up and New Orleanians have now given up their crazy antics of the last few days. I marched with the 9th Ward Band again on Lundi Gras, after a few sleepless days they were really in the spirit and surprisingly tighter than ever. They rocked it! Was honoured enough to take their official band photo. Mardi Gras yesterday was the final celebration of this festive season and to be honest I don’t think I could have taken much more before falling down dead from exhaustion. Last night I entered a new realm of tiredness that I’m still recovering from. The adventure ends on Friday as I fly back to the UK. So tomorrow is pretty much the last chance I’ll get to shoot the city. Gonna go full out tomorrow, feel like someone cramming for an exam or something.. the last few days have flown by and now the pressure is really on!
